Week 2... Part 2 of 3 Unbelievable Biscuits

Along with the Chess Squares, Kevin and Amanda also shared the Unbelievable Biscuits, and let me tell you, these are definitely UNBELIEVABLE!  I added a little touch to the recipe Kevin and Amanda shared... you can find that below!

Unbelievable Biscuits
by Chef Alex Guarnaschelli

3 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for rolling
1 tbsp. PLUS 1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 cups heavy or whipping cream
Preheat oven to 350°. Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into large bowl. Add cream to dry ingredients, mixing with hands. Take care there is no flour remaining in the bottom of the bowl. Turn biscuit mixture onto lightly floured surface. With floured hands, shape into 9 x 6-inch rectangle, about 1-inch-thick. Lightly flour knife and cut biscuit mixture lengthwise into 4 pieces, then crosswise into 6 pieces, to make 24 (1-1/2-inch) squares. Arrange biscuits on nonstick baking sheet or baking sheet lined with parchment paper; chill 15 minutes. Bake 15 minutes or until biscuits are light golden brown.
Makes 24 biscuits.

**I added my own Cinnamon spread on top**  Find this recipe below....

The main ingredients

First Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar

Then add 2 and 1/2 cups of Heavy Whipping Cream

After you mix well with your hands, form it into a
9x6 rectangle with a height of about 1 inch

Then with a floured SHARP knife, cut the rectangle,
length wise, four times, and then 6 times width wise

Carefully place the biscuits on a non stick baking sheet or on parchment paper

Place the biscuits in a cold place for about 15mins before you bake them.
When they are ready to bake, place them in the oven for 15mins on 350 degrees

When ready, serve warm, with just butter or this delicious cinnamon butter

Cinnamon Spread

2 tbsp Butter
11/2 tsp of cinnamon
11/2 tbsp of sugar

Mix all of these ingredients together.  Add more sugar or cinnamon to taste.  When ready, spread on biscuit
