365 day project :. Day 31

Alright this is going to be a quick one for I am running LATE!  One thing I love to photograph is texture and repetition.  I found three jars of peppers in my moms kitchen, and just had to photograph them!!

365 day project :. Day 30

Last week Tuesday (Jan. 25) it was my moms birthday.  We had such a great time stopping at an old family bar for a glass of wine and then stopping at our traditional restaurant for lunch.  For my moms birthday, a got her really cute measuring spoons.  Mom really likes lady bugs, so why not incorporate that into measuring spoons! :-)

365 day project :. Day 29

I love pie...... I love the way the whole house smells of cherry or apple.  When you first cut into a freshly baked pie, the pie filling melts out.  When you take the first bite, how it warms your tongue.  Pie reminds me of summer time, and gets me excited to see the snow melt!

365 day project :. Day 28

Today I had a fruit tooth.. You know when you say sweet tooth, well I had a fruit tooth.  Crazy right?  I usually crave the candy bar or the dark chocolate, but when I am handed a jar of peanut butter and an apple, I go crazy... If I had to have one last meal, you better bet your bottom that it would include peanut butter!!.. alright I am totally rambling now, because this photo of the day has NOTHING to do with peanut butter, its about fruit, the mango to be exact. 

Have you ever actually cracked open a mango and ate it? I'm not talking mango juice or mango flavored smoothies, I'm talking the real thing!  First thing to note about mangos... don't try and eat one when you are dying of hunger, they can be a little difficult to get into.  Second thing, they are not as sweet as one may think.  The are, what my mom and I, would compare to a light peach.  It tastes good plain, or with a dash of cherry sauce :-).  Try it out, and let me know what you think!

So today's photo of the day is of wall art.. haha.  Simple I know, but sometimes the most simplest things are the most beautiful!

Yesterday was a very special day for a very special person.  It was my moms birthday.  I am so glad I was able to spend time with my mom on her Birthday.  For everything she has done for me, I could never do enough to thank her.  She is my mother, and best friend.  She is always there whenever I have a silly question that I could never ask anyone else.  She is always there to listen to my story over and over again.  She is always there when I need her.  She is the light in my darkness, and the answer to any prayer.  Thank you mom for being my biggest fan.

Today is another self portrait.  Sorry I am short for words, but this week has already been hectic!

I love birds, but I love seeing birds in the winter.  When the birds are perched on the naked branch, and all you can see is their fluffy bodies.  There are some good things to these cold months.

During the Packer game, a few hungry friends decided to pop in and say hi! ha I wanted to remind them that it wasn't Thanksgiving anymore :-)

Today I had a fabulous time photographing Jon and Alex's wedding!!  They were so beautiful together.  You know that couple you see that just can't keep their eyes of each other, well this was that couple.  They were down to earth, easy going, and an extremely loving couple!! I am excited to share a few photographs from their special day!

When you were a kid, did you ever want to be a toy?  Playing with Barbies or Trackers,  haven't you ever wished you could play along  at their level?  Well I sure have, that's the beauty of being a child, the sky's the limit!

Yesterday was Christmas all over again!  I received my wonderful gifts from the Kelly Moore Giveaway!  I was so excited to plop my CD's into the CD player, attach my new camera strap, put my vintage bow in my hair, and place my camera in my new Kelly Moore Bag!  I am truly blessed!! Thank you so much Kelly Moore

365 day project :. Day 19

Being a country girl, there are a few things a see a lot of.. cows, fields, and... boots.  Eventually I'll capture the beauty of the first two I mentioned, but today I noticed a whole lot of boots around the house.  It is expected living on a farm :-)

365 day Project:. Day 18

Again the feature of my photos is my lovely Romeo.  And I have a reason!  I was all ready to take the photo of the day when I heard whinning, again!  I finally realized why Romeo whines all the time (maybe not all).  Whenever I have my camera in my hand, Romeo assumes we are going outside for a photo shoot.

Back on Day 1, I brought Romeo out with me to help take my photo of the day, and we had a BLAST playing in the snow, ever since that day, he whines every time I take my camera out!  I couldn't help myself today, I got a collection of photographs of him "whining".. If you listen closely you will hear him :-)

PS don't mind the blur, he totally caught me off guard!
