365 day project :. Day 17

It's time for a little self portrait!  I have not done one of these in a long time because I don't necessarily like being on the other end of the camera!  This is a simple self portrait.  Soon I hope to post a much cooler one :-)

365 day project :. Day 16

Today's photo is exactly what one needs in order to succeed.  As I continue to grow in my photography, I always come back to one word that continues to push me, and that word is BELIEVE.  You have to believe in yourself if you want to go far, you have to motivate yourself and you have to have faith.  You can do good if you just believe.

365 Day Project :. Day 15

One thing I absolutely fascinate is old things.  I love looking at something that looks like it has been around a hundred years and think about the story behind it.  It is also awesome when I know where the items came from.  Around the house I found a collection of things that have been in the family a long time, and all I can do is think about my grandma and my great-grandma using them. 

This may be why I love to go rummage sale-ing.  Some things people want to throw away are my treasures :-)

365 Day Project :. Day 14

Another thing that I just love is tea. It is good for you, and it relaxes me!  I received a tea pot last year for Christmas, and I love it so much.  My absolutely favorite kind of tea is blueberry, right next to peach.  I always like to use two different kinds when I make tea, so I usually pair my favorite with a green or black tea.  I also always have to add honey!! A wonderful natural sweetener!
